ALAKANANDA MA is the 1st western trained physician to practice ayurvedic medicine in the US. She had traveled from her native home in England to do her residency in India when she met the Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Ladd. He was the 1st person in the medical field that could mirror her medical intuitive abilities and help people from this vantage point. He told her to meditate for a year then come back. This she did. She resides in Boulder, Co. and will begin the 1st Ayuvedic program to teach what will become the licensing vehicle for Ayurvedic practitioners in the US.
